As Savas Plastic Industry and Trade Joint Stock Company (referred to as “Savas Plastic” in this statement), acting as the data controller;

in a manner that is related, limited, and proportionate to the purpose of processing,
your personal data that we have requested and/or that you have shared with us may be processed within the purpose that requires their processing;
recorded, stored, maintained, reorganized,

shared with institutions authorized by law and transferred to domestic third parties under the conditions stipulated by the KVKK, classified, and processed in other ways listed in the KVKK.

The purpose of this Disclosure Statement is to explain how and for what purposes we will process your personal data. Please read this Disclosure Statement carefully.

Method and Legal Basis of Data Collection

Savas Plastic collects personal data directly from data subjects verbally or physically and processes such data. You can find a table below detailing the personal data collected and how they are collected.

Savas Plastic collects data to monitor the security of the factory location, such as recording and tracking visitor entry and exit activities. If visitors use Savas Plastic’s internet network for service, data is also collected to monitor and secure this service.

This data is collected in accordance with KVKK using both automatic and non-automatic methods through digital and technical channels and processed under the conditions and purposes specified in Article 5 of KVKK.

Purposes for Processing Your Personal Data

Your personal data may be processed in accordance with KVKK by the data controller or authorized entities for the following purposes:

Creating a visitor record,
Enabling the use of the guest internet network,
Ensuring and auditing Savas Plastic’s quality, environmental, information security, and privacy policies and standards,
Recording camera footage due to privacy and security applications,
Compliance with health and safety obligations,
Fulfilling legal and regulatory requirements,
Responding to the demands of public institutions and organizations as required or mandated by legal regulations,
Fulfilling legal obligations stipulated in the KVKK.

Sharing Your Personal Data with Third Parties in Turkey

With security service providers,
With public institutions and organizations for fulfilling legal obligations,
With health and safety companies, hospitals, and healthcare institutions for emergency medical interventions and fulfilling occupational health and safety obligations,

Personal Data Retention Period

Your personal data will be retained for 1 year for the purposes mentioned above. After the retention period, your data will be deleted, destroyed, and/or anonymized in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law and related regulations upon your request or by Savas Plastic.

Applications will be concluded as soon as possible and no later than 30 days. If the transaction incurs an additional cost, the fee determined by the Personal Data Protection Board will be charged. If the response to your request is provided on a recording medium such as a CD or flash drive, the fee cannot exceed the cost of the recording medium.

Method and Legal Basis of Data Collection

We collect your personal data through oral, physical, or electronic means, as required for the establishment of a legal relationship or employment contract with Savas Plastic. We also collect information from references or former employers you have listed and/or through email communications of Savas Plastic employees, in accordance with Savas Plastic’s legitimate interests.

We collect your personal data from private employment agencies and career network platforms through your job application or the information you have shared and made accessible to third parties.

We collect visual data through cameras installed for security purposes at Savas Plastic.

Purposes for Processing Your Personal Data

Your personal data, as mentioned above, is processed for the following purposes under the employment relationship with Savas Plastic:

Recruitment and employment of new personnel, reviewing candidates, and determining suitable candidates
Verification of information provided by references listed in your CV or job application form
Recording your CV information for future reference and confirmation of your fit for the position
Ensuring security within the company
Managing entry-exit records and informing the Human Resources Department

may be processed by various departments within Savas Plastic for purposes such as evaluating job applications, confirming information with references, and conducting candidate interviews. Your data may also be shared with our legal advisors or courts when necessary to protect our legal rights.

Sharing Your Personal Data with Third Parties in Turkey

As the Data Controller, Savas Plastic may share the personal data of employee candidates with referenced individuals to evaluate the candidate's suitability for company operations. If necessary, data may be shared with courts in compliance with legal obligations.

Visual data collected through cameras and identification details provided at the entrance or to security staff are processed and maintained by Savas Plastic as the Data Controller.

As Savas Plastic Industry and Trade Joint Stock Company, we place great importance on the confidentiality and security of your personal and special category personal data.

In this regard, we handle the processing of the personal and special category personal data you share with us during your job application and the continuation of your employment contract with great care, in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 and related regulations.

Processing of Your Personal Data

During your job application and the continuation of your employment contract, your personal data may be collected automatically or non-automatically, as required by the employment relationship or due to legal obligations, and may be processed within the limits prescribed by the relevant legislation.

Your Rights Regarding the Protection of Personal Data

Under the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 and related legislation, you have the right to inquire whether your personal data has been processed, request information if it has been processed, learn the purpose of the processing and whether it is used for that purpose, know the third parties to whom your data has been transferred within or outside the country, request correction of your data if it is incomplete or incorrect, request deletion or destruction of your data if the reasons for processing no longer exist, and request notification of these actions to the third parties to whom your data was transferred. You also have the right to object to any unfavorable results arising from exclusively automated data analysis and to claim compensation for any damages caused by unlawful data processing.

Pursuant to Article 11 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698, personal data subjects ("Applicant") have the right to make certain requests regarding the processing of their personal data.

Applicants can submit their requests by filling out this application form and delivering it in person to our Human Resources Department or sending it via email to[email protected].

Our company will respond to the request as soon as possible and within thirty (30) days at the latest, free of charge. However, if the transaction incurs a cost, the fee determined by the Personal Data Protection Board may be charged.
